does anyone have schematics for a homemade
serial cable?
Take a whole bunch of cheerios and glue them together with the holes all lined up. Then take your wire and pass it thru the cheerios and attatch each end to a paper cup.
What can I say. I am a lawyer.

Check out this old thread. It's got links to some great info and schematics for a serial cable. I used it to build 3 of my own and they work great (for syncing, anyway).

In August you'll be able to buy one at Mark/Space for $29.95. http://www.markspace.com/datacord.html
thanks MarkEagle, i'll give it a try as soon
as my MAX203 chips come in. I didn't think that a serial cradle/cable was worth the price so i hope this works.
