buying replacement screens
I have dropped my Visor Neo, and the screen has cracked, meaning that the touch screen doesn't work properly. I really need to repair it or get a new palm, however, it is out of warranty, and I have very little money.
I was wondering whether it is possible to buy replacement screens and install them yourself, without having to pay handspring $100. If so, is this easy, and how much are they?
I'm sure there have been similar threads to this before, but I couldn't find them.
Please Help!
Thanks,
Leo
PDAParts.com (formerly gethightech.com) carries tons of Visor and other PDA replacement parts - including replacement screens.
A complete screen replacement can be found here for $55, and the instructions to install it here.
Look over the instructions before ordering, if you don't feel comfortable doing this I would just recommend getting a refurbished Visor from Handspring.
Good luck!

the cheapest place may be ebay.
I got one from "palm screens International" because I am in the UK and PDAparts.com don't ship here.
It cost me 42 - about $28ish.
Thanks for your help!
