Battery power realated data loss..

Why is it that sometimes when battery power gets low say 25% left that my Visor Deluxe behaves oddly. Sometimes it will lock up and upon rest I get a jumbled startup screen. With fresh batteries it restarts but I've lost all data and im back on square one? Whats the deal?

Strange. Yesterday, I turned mine on and found the screen blank with a black line across the bottom. Resets never cleared anything up. Now, I wish I would have switched batteries, but I didn't. Instead, I left them out to clear the memory (which it did).

After 20 minutes, I got the same result and changed the batteries on a whim. It worked.

This has never happened before and a often have my batteries below 15% left.

Maybe something drained the batteries really, really low, like a crash that never got reset...
