Desktop: fixing after crash (HELP)

Help!

Palm Desktop was minimized when Word 2000 took down NT4. Nasty, I know. NT 4 rarely hangs on me.

So now, when I click on Palm Desktop, I get a dialog that says:

Error: Failed to open Date Book database

<OK>


Given that I have data on my Visor, and data on my Desktop, any tips on repairing the Desktop to preserve both?

Any tips on surviving system crashes when Palm Desktop is active? This has to happen loads of times on Win98/ME.
