I'm looking for a stylus with a pen that I can keep in the stylus bay on my BVD. I think I would be happy with the handspring model, but the shipping charges ($8:50) make the cost of this pen more than I am willing to spend.

Any suggestions??? (and where to find them)

Frank

There was a post on here not so long ago, because I'm looking for one to), that suggested using a Pentel Dynagrip pen. The stem on the pen fits into the visor stylus spot and if the pen tip is inside the pen the tip works as a great stylus. I haven't tried it yet. I keep forgetting to buy one!

Frank,

(James, I suppose this should now be moved to the Buy/Sell/Exchange board).

I have a Handspring Pen Stylus (NEW). I bought it when I bought my VDX. But Handspring shipped my unit with a deluxe stylus (METAL!). I have never used it.

I'll sell it for what I have in it plus shipping. $16.00 or best offer. That saves you the $8.50 shipping/handling from Handspring!

I'll sell it for $14 if you pay by my PayPal referral.

Frank-- If you're able to order from Amazon, they have the Handspring Pen Stylus for $13.95 (with a stated 1-2 week ship timeframe).

The shipping costs calculate out to $2.98. Sales tax is only applied to orders sent to Washington state. So, $16.93 should be the total cost.

After I used the guy's referral to set up a PayPal account and got a signup credit, I ended up not paying anything for my Ice deluxe stylus that I purchased over EBay. Food for thought...

I just have to say that if you're going to get one with a reset pin, make sure it reaches the button. That is my biggest gripe with my Pentopia chameleon, that and the plastic is falling apart, and it has a high price ($20!) But it is a great stylus, has a pen built in, and is a good weight. It also fits into the silo.

I have a four-in-one stylus from Stylus Plus. It's great -- it has a blue pen, a red pen, a pencil and a stylus in one instrument. It is too big to fit in the little slot, but that does make it easier to write with! I solved the storage problem by sewing two bits of elastic to the side of my E&B slipper case to hold it.
