datebook won't appear on desktop

I have entered all my calendar data into my handspring but cannot get it to display on my desktop. The hotsync message says the operation is complete including synchronizing mt datebook. What am I doing wrong?

So the sync log on the Visor says "OK Datebook" (after a hotsync, click on "Log")? If so, then maybe you have all the records marked as private (click on the "Details" button by any appointment on the Visor and see if there's a check in the box by "Private"), and the desktop is set to hide private records (on the desktop's datebook view, click on "View" and see if "Hide Private Records" is checked (maybe "Mask Private Records", too - I never use that )). Try setting it to "Show Private Records" if it's not already checked.

Thanks for your reply. The log on my handspring says "OK Outlook Calendar" and none of my appointments are marked private. Also i checked the desktop and it is set to show privates anyway. Still no calendar on my desktop
any other ideas? Thanks

Given the output message, I'd say that your calendar on the Visor is trying to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook, not the Palm Desktop. Been a long time, but I think when you install the Palm desktop software it asks if you want to sync with it or Outlook. If you need it to sync with Outlook, I'm afraid I can't help - I've always used the Palm desktop, so I've never tried syncing with Outlook. Best I can offer is if you have Outlook then look for your calendar items there, or if you want the Palm desktop I think you might have to reinstall the Palm desktop software and pick the Palm PIM option.

Sorry I'm not more help!

Thank you, Dwayne! I reinstalled, changed from outlook to palm desktop and it worked.
Have a good day!
