Both the Innopak 2V and the DataQuake are flash memory modules (2 megs and 8 or 16 megs respectively). Both also have vibrating alarms with the Dataquake having three levels of strength. The vibrating alarms work with system alarms and the standard datebook alarms but not necessarily with other programs. The DataQuake also has a flashing LED alarm as well.
I have a 16 meg DataQuake and am pleased with it. I do not really use the alarms, I just use it for the memory. I wish that it were a bit more flexible in supporting other software and in allowing you to configure alarms. The PoGo Products website and other sites with information about the DataQuake talk about DataQuake enabled games that flash and rumble when things explode (in addition to sound). As far as I can tell, no such games exist. The moderator on the Pogo Products tech support forum admitted as much in one thread.
Here is a link to Pogo Products website with more information about the DataQuake.

Thanks a lot I understand it now
Part of my stupidity was based on the fact that I dont have one yet and was trying to figure out what an alarm was even for on a handheld.

Look at the Liberty Documentation.
Hey,
I read about the innopak/2v support in the liberty documentation. Anyone else know about a support for another app?
