Just some notes that may help folks trying to decide if upgrading from a VDx to a Neo is worth it...

[My son crushed the screen on his VDx so he ended up with my old VDx and a new Ti Slider case... I primarily use my Visor for keeping client notes using BrainForest, keeping track of my Schedule/To-Dos with Date Book+, finding people via the Address app and Mapopolis 2.0.]

Arrived today... set up case with velcro & Rhinoskin and Handspring stickers - adjusted friction on closing - look like it rubs the up & down buttons some

Backed up my VDx, HotSync'd & then disabled OnlyMe, Hacks, & deleted the software patch (Hs Ext 1.03) [did warm reset with up button so I could delete it....] OS3.1H3 -> OS3.1 - backed up to another module (having 3 Backup Modules sure made things easier!) and used it to load the Neo (put WriteRight and TapPad on it first) - backed up the iBook to tape prior to testing a HotSync... everything seems fine - reloaded the normal system in the VDx and ran some comparisons... loading largest BF tree (VDx: 5.04 sec. , Neo: 2.76 sec.), loading Mapopolis 2.0 map (VDx: 9.03 sec. , Neo: 5.94 sec.) - a noticeable improvement!

Tried Fast Lookup in the Address app and it doesn't work consistently - disabled via preferences.

Took apart both VDx's and put my son's green faceplate & button board (didn't seem to make a difference, the down button still doesn't make contact every time) into mine without incident (one of the screw posts on the green faceplate is broken but it doesn't really need it...) - restored from his module and put it in the Ti Slider for him to use - we'll see...

Checking out apps on Neo...

Album ToGo 1.0.4 looks crummy and crashes when I try to access preferences - deleted.

ATool! 0.90 no longer shows the bars in the B-Days display - ok, may check on upgrade.

Gray Paint 2.0.0 looks really strange - deleted.

Grafitti Shortcut /h now accesses "Security" instead of "To Do Preferences" in Date Book+... a pain since that's how I switch between home and office "modes" (somewhat mitigated by the title bar drop-down menus...)
