Better stylus and/or case for Edge?

I was thinking about buying an Edge, but one of the things that really put me off was the stylus. There are two things I don't like about it:

1) It's not perfectly round - I find that difficult to hold, and the tip has that curvy edge. I think they did that to make it look sleek, but it distracts from function I think

2) Since it doesn't have a silo, I find it tricky to open and use. When you grip the Edge, the pressure from your grip makes it more challenging to remove the stylus.

The best solution I can think of is to find a slim, form fitting case for the Visor Edge which also has a pen loop so I can use a more conventional stylus. I prefer a case that is a vertical flip like the metal Edge cover rather than a side hinged case that opens like a book. Any suggestions?

How to make the stylus better

I don't mind the stylus so much. Except for the lack of a reset tool.

My solution was to get some pliers and make the 'point' thinner.

Works like a charm now.

Well at least, not that I've managed to find

I kind of like the stylus, but I needed a pen, so I got the stylus/pen combo from HS. the tip on that is small enough to reset the device.

I picked up the stylus/pen combo off of Ebay for $15. I feel I was ripped off. I never saw how they could possible charge $30 for it as they do on the Handspring site. It's constantly falling out of my Edge. The original stylus was much better built.

The plastic one falls out of mine all the time too -- I went back to the stock unit--
