- Springboard Modules (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/forumdisplay.php?forumid=10)
-- Greetings from Comdex (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=9407)
Well, most of the modules that I saw were already known of, so I won't list all of the modules, but just some interesting things.
I haven't seen an announcement for it anywhere, but CardAccess has a new thinmodemplus coming out. It's the same as the Thinmodem except it has 8MB of flash.
Xircom claims that the Wired ethernet module will be available for sale in January and the Wireless ethernet out in March. The Wired ethernet module is surprisingly small compared to the Springport modem.
The Magellan companion looks pretty interesting. The GeoDiscovery guy claims that they're going to be using their software when it actually releases. It has MMC slots similar to the Geode, but it's physically smaller.
Well, more tomorrow when I have more time to chat with the vendors.

Although wired will definitely be nice, the wireless ethernet adapter is really a killer app for me at work. And, I should probably mention for those that aren't familiar with 802.11...there are going to be two versions of the wireless ethernet module, one 40-bit and one 128-bit
Dang, and I just sprung for a 8mb flash...I'd have rather upgraded my Thinmodem and kept down all the modules I carry around...*sigh*
