HandyCam - Not enough Memory for Jpg3???
So I've had the camera for 3 weeks now and went to take a few snapshots of my car. I snap in the handycam and proceed to take a picture - up arrow - bleep "Information Not enough Memory for Jpg3" . WTF???? So I change the resolution to 160x160 - takes pictures fine. Changed it back to 640x480 - same crap. I have more than 50% of my Prism memory available and I emptied/formated the onboard memory of the handycam itself - nogo. One strange thing it does is that after this message comes up I get the preview screen divided in 4 (unevenly divided) and if I take a snapshot @160x160 - it makes it divided!!! I'm seriously considering returning the camera due to this crap problem being - I bought it on the internet and I have to ship it back :P
Any insight would be appreciated.
I'm assuming your talking about the handcam. There is a little bit of memory internal to the camera. I don't know if pictures are stored on this memory or in your visors memory but, if you go to the details tab you can move the pictures back and forth.
Strange Tanks
Yeah - there is 2mb of flash memory on the camera itself - I have deleted all pictures stored on the flash and even formatted it. Still no luck. I contacted Targus and they escalated this to their "3rd level support" but I don't have time to waste - I got an RMA number and am returning the camera - might buy another one later on but most likely will wait for prices to drop (paid ~$90 for mine shipped)
I'm having the same problem. If you hear of a fix, let me know, please.
