has anyone out there purchased and used either the innogear innopak/2v (2mb ram with the blinking light alarm) or the memory access (2mb ram, vibrating alarm, blinking light)?
Or is anyone aware of any reviews comparing the 2 similar products? I'm contemplating purchasing one of them - the memory access specs look better to me, but i wonder how well it works.

I use the InnoPak 2V with vibrating alarm. I like the way it works. You just have to be sure to keep your Visor somewhere you can feel it when the alarm goes off. I keep mine in my back pocket and feel it just fine as it is a strong motor. I use the flash memory more than the vibrating alarm. Of course the file mover program is included and it moves programs and files with ease. I even keep a few programs (Astroids, e.g.) on the Innopak that I run right off the flash. I think it was $45 well spent. And this is one Innogear product that you can get NOW.

I agree with Swendor's comments. I use it mainly for extra memory. I haven't used the Memory Access module, so I can't compare them head-to-head.

One note - the Innopak does NOT have a flashing light alarm, as the original post suggests. It only has the vibrating feature.

The one thing I like about the Innopak/V2 is that the upgraded software now supports interruptible alarms (stop the vibrations by tapping on the screen). This works great with the leather belt clip case by palm, since I can tap the screen THROUGH the case (without taking it out) if I don't want to be interrupted in a meeting, etc. I know that the memory access has configurable strength vibrations, but does it have this 'interruptible alarm' feature?

I ordered the Memory Access and am currently awaiting it's arrival. I'll post my honest opinion of this module after I get to play around with it and try to *break* it for a day or two.
