I have set up my Visor to hot synch at work. I installed Pocket Mirror on my work laptop and set it up to synch my email as well. It synchs with Outlook 2000 and all seems to be going well - so far.

I would like to set it up to hotsynch at home as well. I won't install Pocket Mirror at home as I don't use Outlook 2000 at home and I don't nned to set it up to synch with my home email either. We use Outlook Express for email at home so the Visor shouldn't be looking for that anyway.

I just want to be able to update AvantGo and snag some occassional downloads.

Whaddya think? Is this a good idea or a bad idea? Any pitfalls you can help me avoid would be GREAT!

Thanks!

I sync at both places. I have not had any real problems. I use Outlook 2000 at home and I sync my mail with cc:Mail while at work (I use the Send Mail only for my Palm mail and it works at home and at work). The only problem I had was that I had duplicate appt's in Outlook after reinstalling MS Office 2000, but after deleting the dups they have not come back. I'm not sure if that was what caused my duplicate entries but it wasn't too big of a deal for me.

And at work I just sync up with Palm Desktop and my setup is to always overwrite what's on the desktop with my Palm so any new meetings I make will show up in both places.
