Question

can i use my GPS to plan out Hicking trips, like draw a little trail and it will show me where ive' been1? Im planning to get the Quo Vadis Handy GPS, or is there more in the worxs?

You could make one but you'd have some problems with it. On a hiking trail you're in a small area, a trail for instance. Well the GPS available to civilians isn't that accurate because the government doesn't want you flying missles to places useing GPS. The error is about a hundred feet I think so you'd have a problem if you were relying on that to navigate. The military can use GPS to pinpoint their location to about 3 feet.

but the quo vadis handy gps has street level mapping, how current is your info, also i know some boat gps can make trials?

There is a FAQ page at Marcosoft under the mapping software product link. They talk about planned upgrades like marking up a map and route planning.

Also, check out http://www.sammysoft.com they review all of the Palm mapping software and rates Quo Vadis the best for the palm.
