A new keyboard.

There is a new keyboard for Visor. Any opinion?

Think this one is better.

Haven't tried it, but sure looks smaller, easier to use, more convenient, but slightly more expensive.

I cannot get the cirque site to open, but I found it at www.fellowes.com as well ($49.00)

The idea of a tiny keyboard is OK, but I am not real sure if there is a significant differnce between one of these and the on-screen keyboard or the Fitaly Stamp keyboard.

These smaller keyboards do not let you type like a Stowaway or GoType does- you usually use one finger and hack away.

I work with clients with physical disabilities, and am trying to help them use PDAs to help them in a lot of ways. Data input is an on-going problem. I will get one (or both) of these to try because they would be good solutions for people who have difficulty with the stylus.

For the rest of us, however... I have my doubts, but I'll give it a try!

Did you see something I didn't - it says versions available for "Palm III, Palm V, Palm VII, M100, M500." Nothing about Visors?

Scroll down the menu before the "Order Now" button. You will see a Visor option there. I was wondering someone will not scroll down the option menu. You are the first one I know.

I placed an order for the keyboard at DSI, and when I called to check on it, the keyboards won't be in for another three weeks, in case anyone has ordered/ was considering ordering it.

Looks like another keyboard. This one folds down the middle. I have a stowaway. However, I am intriged by the weight 4 oz.

Never even thought about it, since it clearly listed only the other three, but I stand corrected (and slightly humbled).

plus, if you buy "more than two" it's five bucks less.
'tis cool that CyberGuys has it. Lotsa neat stuff there.
[Offtopic] I especailly like their "power strip liberators," they're fantabulous, I got three outlets back by using them.[/off topic]

That cyber guys keyboard is the worst of both worlds... big AND thumb typing. If I was going to type with thumbs I think I'd want a much smaller option. If I was going to end up with something bulky as this, I'd get the Stowaway.

I don't regret for a minute the Stowaway I bought. Sure the joints make it impossible to type unless on a flat hard surface, but for me that is ok, I don't need to type in a situation I'm not at a desk.
