I synch my VPL with my HP Pavillion (would not recommend this PC to others!) using the USB cradle. From time to time, after I place the VPL in the cradle, it forces my PC to reboot. Have anyone envounter this?

I have a similar problem too. I have a VPR and HP Pavillion also. When I first turn on my pc, the synch will work fine for a while, then for whatever reason, it won't let me synch again. I have to reboot my pc to get it to working again. BTW, I use USB cradle too.

I have a platinum and sync to a HP Pavilion. I have never had a problem. I don't use my PDA for e-mail or anything else exotic.
