-- Making the Prism stay on when in cradle (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=9570)

Does anyone know of any way to keep the Prism on when connected to power in the cradle? I could do this with my PalmV but there seems to be no way of achieving it in the Prism. I want to keep it showing a clock permanently when connected to AC. Any software that can do it?

You can use AlwaysON to make it stay on longer but you would have to remember to change it when it was not on the cradle.

A specific app to stay on while in the cradle charging is not available I don't think... yet....

Another way is use the security software OnlyMe. If you have this enabled, the Prism will stay on when in the cradle but behave normally otherwise. I'm sure this is a bug, but it works fine for this purpose.

Answering my own question, I've now also found an application called maClock which has an option to override the auto-off. The option only works when maClock is the visible application so this only leaves the danger of removing the Prism from the cradle while maClock is running and forgetting to switch off, uncheck the option or switch to another application.
