Cool...it looks like they're moving it up (since it was originally targetted for September or October IIRC).

I wonder if Thinkoutside will offer a trade in or upgrade program for owners of first generation Stowaway Portable Keyboard?

why cant they just do an adaptor type thingy!?

I've been very curious to see if they aren't changing the keyboard some.

Possibly offering different colors, etc, or a built in charger, or something of that nature.

The keyboard runs using the "serial" interface.

I am kind of torn. On one hand I'd love to have an even nicer keyboard for an edge, but contrarily I'd really much rather have a stowawawy keyboard available now, and take advantadge of Visor's promo.

(Which I am also very suspicious of, as in all rebates from those guys, translated to price drops, and this product still doesn't have flash memory)

I think/hope visor is not dropping the edge form factor for a while. It will be incredibly stupid for their PR. Well unless the next one made EVERYONE happy.

looking at the Edge's hotsync cradle, it seems that it would not be too difficult to make the keyboard connector identical and have an "ideal" mount to the keyboard, without use of the pull out arm.

But yeah without the stowaway for anything new, my VDX will continue to be more useful than whatever else I buy.

I had a deluxe visor stowaway and been waiting for an edge stowaway for to damn long!
There is nothing to tie me to the edge.

There's a ship called Sony pulling up alongside and I'm going to jump aboard

Come September Handspring will have to pull of something spectacular to remain head above the rest, screen wise, storage, mp3 etc.

Are they going to change the damn connector again?
What connector will they use? edge or deluxe?

I have heard rumors that in Japan, becasue of the limited market apeal to an Edge Stowaway, Targus is just goign to sell adaptors..... I don't like that. I want the Edge Stowaway to be a Stowaway^2
