-- Windstone rules! (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=575)
For all people who are waiting for our Visors to arrive and have never used a Palm OS before, head on over to http://www.oski.co.kr/ and download the free modified version of CoPilot and the Windstone ROM (based on Linux kernel). It actually runs Palms apps.
It feels a bit sluggish but atleast I can test all the cool apps now and be ready for my Visor when it arrives. Thanks OSK, you've made my day.

Did we crash Osk's website too?
I haven't been able to access Osk's site. (I'm reminded of the IBM commercial: "I forgot to tell the web guy."
) It's beginning to look like we VC members are establishing a reputation for toasting web servers.
...but then again, my connection might be bad.
The website has probably been slashdotted. It is linked from www.slashdot.org.

Actually, it was probably due more to the notice it got on SlashDot. It seems of the all sites mentioned there, 90% will end up 'filling the pipe' until the hub-bub dies down.
Oops, I think it's the famous /. (http://www.slashdot.org/) effect at work again, as they just reported the story this morning.
Lucky I got it early. If you guys want it now, I'll be on the EFNet #palm channel.

Ah, forget IRC, I just uploaded the Windstone files to my Xoom account.

Just don't crash Xoom too.
Enjoy,

Hey cut through all of that and head to the source http://palm.3com.com/devzone/pose/e...r_app_21d29.sit The palm website, or am i miising somthing
POSE didn't recognize Windstone as a valid PalmOS ROM image... at least that's what it did to me on my NT box. However, it did run under CoPilot--albeit VERY slowly.
