Question

Just wondering...

Where did the s. number go?

Not under the Bat. lid?

That's where it should be. It's a big long thing (5 letters and a bunch of numbers) with a bar code above it.)

FYI Handspring will not service any Visor without a serial number. I would advise you to find your serial number and keep it in a safe place.

The Serial No is stated behind the battery cover.
Can any one tell me where can I get the desktop stop software? I need the serial no to download the software. I can't do sync now.

The serial number is either behind the battery cover or on the box above the visor color sticker on the box flap if you got the box from your friend. If your friend did not give you the CD that comes with the visor you might be able to use the sync software from palm's web site if you are only going to sync with a serial cradle. I am not sure if it will work though. The palm software will not support USB.

I did not tell you this but if you check out some old threads like this one: http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...TML/000649.html you may find a serial nr. you are looking for...

Off course only use it if you indeed have a visor that is missing a nr. you not abuse the info...
