Backing up Visor- recent event changes my view

For a long time I've been only thinking that it is worth backing up your data by doing a HotSync. However something happened to my HotSync software that stopped letting it HotSync with the Palm Desktop. This lead me to have to uninstall and then reinstall the Palm Desktop losing my homework assignment data. However I had used Yahoo! Intellisync earlier today so lucky for me I had a back-up copy of my homework on Yahoo!. I was able to go and get my homework off of Yahoo! and do a copy paste into the notepad. I'm glad I listened to you guys.

Not sure if I'd be too keen on having Yahoo, a large corporation, holding on to back-ups of my data...
