Some of my thoughts on the VisorEdge:

I think the Twist in VisorTwist refers to SuperTwist LCD technology (See http://www.zdwebopedia.com/Display_...supertwist.html). So maybe we will see a color unit with the VisorEdge form factor.

I guess we will find out on Monday. (At least I hope so.)

Arrow Very Interesting

EMeyer:

I agree with you! These are very interesting observations. I doubt Handspring will have the Twist for us on Monday though. We would have definitely hear rumors about its features. Still, I am almost certain that they will have a color companion of the Edge (the Twist?) for us later in the year.

Wow. Good thinking! I couldn't agree more with the twist. The Edge, I don't know excatly about, but I think there's a better reason hand made it incompatible with all existing cables etc.

Visor Snap=Springboard Module sled
Visor Twist=COLOR EDGE! (Been kept secret !)
Visor Edge=normal Edge, better price = $350 (would whoop palm v's @sses then

Visor Twist please!

I really hope they come out with a visor twist soon. I have promised myself that my next PDA would be color and a color slim PDA that is compadible with the modules I already have is perfect. Oh well I can hope.

If you really want thin technology with a color screen and can't wait for a Visor Edge with color (unless, of course, we're surprised and they offer it today) I understand the Palm M505 will have the same form-factor as the Palm V but with color.
