Apologize if this was asked before...let me know if it was...

I just recieved my Visor Deluxe, and tried syncing with the USB port. I had a camera hooked up to the other port (i only have two). I installed the Visor software, and when I hooked up the Visor, and tried to sync, it wouldn't. I unpluged the camera and it synced fine.

So, am I limited to only having one USB device and having to plug and unplug when I want to use the camera? This isn't very convenient...any ideas?

Thanks,

Harry

Harry,
I've got 6 different USB devices (none a digital camera) plugged into two ports and daisy chained off of a hub, no issues. I am running Win98 Second Edition which might fix some things.

Check your version of Win98 and then proceed to the MS Update page and check to see if there are any (what am I saying this is Microsoft they are a giant patch) patches and pull them down.

Just a suggestion but it sounds like a desktop OS probably and not a Visor problem.

Also, check this board: some folks were having good luck with deleting the USB drivers and allowing Win98 to reinstall upon reboot.

My USB connections and movement:

I've a Gateway 600 w/ 2 USB ports

Original setup:
port 1 - to parr printer
port 2 - to hub (4 outlets)
- to Visor
- to Win TV

I tried hooking a new USB 250 Zip drive to the hub, that worked ok, but then couldn't hot sync the visor.

Current Setup:
port 1 - to 250 Zip drive
port 2 - to hub (4 outlets)
- to Visor
- to Win TV
- to Parr Port Printer

I've no problems at this time
