I am presently equiped with the following equipments and can't make work the internal modem of my ericsson t18d with my Visor Haldheld

I am receiving a error message: Error; modem not found (0x1106)

Device:Visor Platinum/Palm OS3.5.2H
Serial Cradle DB-9
Null Modem Adapter (DB9 M-M)
Data cable (DA18) for Ericsson T18D

What can be my problem?
