FlashPlus vs. MemPlug?

Has anyone tried the FlashPlus from InnoComp? I am using their CF drive, and like it, but would really like it to be a true Springboard Module, like the FlashPlus seems to be.

Or, in your opinion, would I be happier with a MemPlug? (while I prefer CF because I have a good 64MB one, I can go with SM cards if they are better. My digital camera uses SM anyway, so it probably make sense.)

Am I correct in the thought that this sort of module can perform at least some of the functions of a flash module and a back-up module?

You may be better off with the memplug... depending on what Kopsis has coming. If I were you, I'd stick with what you got for another couple of months and see how the CF wars shake out.

I agree with dietrichbohn. Stay with what you have until about August. I was seriously thinking about getttin the Memplug, but I decided to wait. I like the hints I am getting from Kopsis about their future plans.

I'm not sure the comparison chart is entirely accurate, as it seems to me that the FlashPlus had a backup program and a couple more pieces of software.

How about a quick and dirty comparison of the PI software vs. the FA software? Any thoughts?

(I also cannot quite believe that this group of technophiles suggests 'waiting'. I had to look the word up in the dictionary! )

I should have my FlashPlus any day now and I'll let y'all know what I think. Though I can't give a comparison since I don't have the Memplug.
