'New' Innogear? Cradle...
I may be dreaming here, but I notice an extremely strong resemblance between that 'new' Innogear cradle and the one that's been pictured at Revolve Design for a while now.
Looks like exactly the same photo to me.
Of course, they are touting the new action flick "Iron Monkey" in the theaters, and I rented that about 3 years ago from Blockbuster.

Wherever you go, there you are.
Look here:

Look at the names & email address, this should answer your questions, see anything that looks similar to another company?
Also, any one else notice Bob Fullerton is no longer the CEO of Innogear?

If there's further involvement than that, it might explain why Revolve Design has been promising Visor versions of their product for a year or two and never delivered, though.
oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh
......and the plot thickens
EricG,
Since you seem to be on a roll with discoveries today - did you realize Bob Fullerton has not been CEO of InnoGear for about a year now? It has been some guy named Robin Han
Dense
According to the VC news item:
quote:
InnoGear has released a special PowerCradle that has a built-in charger, allowing users to charge Springboard modules with "built-in rechargers and rechargeable batteries," as well as the Visor itself.
Only Visors that have rechargeable batteries from the factory can be charged via the cradle as they have the internal wiring required. Some people have added this capability.

I am probably dense, but does this mean if I have rechargeable batteries in my VDX they will also be recharged by the Innogear cradle (like the ICU power kit, but able to be in the cradle at the same time)?

Nope - Innogear uses in-house orderfullfilment - WRONG AGAIN :-)
I beg to differ, They did at one time, maybe not now and maybe they only ever handled billing & CC charges, or just order placement (who knows), as I had dealt with rushorder.com when I was purchasing my minijam and more recently with my speedloader ([email protected]), but it is the same rushorder.com as with Revolve Design, just a different email address at rushorder.com, (maybe innogear is doing business as rushorder.com or vice-versa or some other bussiness connection, just a guess though )..
