For many of us ultra mobile people who work in wharehouses, retail floors, out in the yard. Of course, we are never without our Palms or Visors(soon to be I hope), but how often is it that we take the phone off the hook and bring it with us.

With the simple phone module, one could clip on an earpirce. The display would have caller id & call timer. You could also use the expanded phone book to automatically dial the # for you.

I think the microphone/speaker/sound processor technology would lend itself to even bundling mp3 technology so you could listen to your favorite tune while gardening and still hear the phone ring thru the headphones with a distinct beep.

I would be interested to hear feed back on this one.

I kinda like this one. But people like my wife (technologicaly illiterate) that already think the whole 'mobile phone springboard' thing is crazy, would definately have a field day with this one.

I think even the techno-cavemen (or women as they may be), would have the easiest time with this because one could use a user-friendly graphic numeric pad similar to the Palm OS calculator application with plenty of room left over for *, #, & redial keys, maybe even voicemail!
