Video Editing Software

Does anyone know of free video editing software available on the net? I am wanting to merge Eyemodule2 video (saved as AVI files using eyeSplit and mov files during hotsync) and Total Recall recordings (saved as WAV files). They don't exactly have the best quality sound and video so I don't want something like Premiere. I just want something that allows me to import files, place them on a time line, then savethem. Something like Windows Movie Maker except I want to save them as MPEGs so that more people can view them.

I think Windows Movie Maker will do this, but you need Me, or XP.

I have Windows XP and WMM but it only saves files in WMV format. I want to be able to save my movies in MPG format.

Try VCDHelp.com. You'll find a wealth of information about video editing there, along with links to a bunch of free apps to do it.
