-- Otterbox question (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3617)
NOW you are talking...*are you listening OTTERBOX?* I would definately PAY for accessable watertight protection for my 'baby'. After all, I bought the OTTERBOX just for that purpose anyway. If *someone* could come up with a product similar to the bumper/otterbox that allowed access to the unit while maintaining waterPROOF characteristics, I can see the use. I would also think that a tough, slick membrain material would be necessary to have an interface to the screen...
Is this interesting to anyone?

"It's NOT a tumor!"
This may be a little premature, but once I get the GPS unit and try my little "frankenstein" experiment with my otterbox, I'll post the results on this site.
This is when it pays to have a brother that's a dentist (high speed drills, cutters, UV-cure epoxy resins, etc.) and because I work in the aerospace industry, I can get my grubby hands on some cool materials (graphite laminates/composites, titanium, all sorts of adhesives, etc.)....
And if security is reading this as I type this from work, I'm just kidding!

I think the old ziplock bag will work for
I'm sure the zip lock bag will work too, but how much fun would THAT be??
Beside's, with some of the hiking that I do, I don't think that zip lock bag will do well if I dropped my visor/GPS unit.
To each their own...
