Recently received a Targus Total Recall Springboard module and it's great.

For example, dictated a note will driving home from the office, Hotsynced the message to the desktop/notebook and sent the message out in an email. All recipients were able to hear the message save one using an Apple G4. Any suggestions to correct this would be appreciated.

Voice Recognition for Total Recall?

Some stand-alone voice recorders include a voice-to-print capability, in which speech is converted to text via voice recognition software. Has this capability been made available to Visor users?

What file format was the sound file sent as? As long as it is a standard audio file, it should work on any computer.

The default (and only) method of saving it is in .wav format. If the recipient can't hear it, it's probably the recipient's computer.

I have the Targus Voice Recorder, and I love it. I use it a lot while driving. Since I don't use the "To Do" application that much, I programmed the "To Do" button to launch the Total Recall.

Thanks for all the help. I know the file is saved as a .wav file and as such should be heard by both Wintel and Apple systems with an audio program. It turns out that some of the recipients of the file can hear it and others cannot. I will have to back track and see what those who cannot hear the file are using (if any)as an audio program.

.wav & Mac's

I believe (its been a few months since I used my iBook, which was replaced by a visor prism & a portable keyboard) That mas os has to register the .wav format. similar to the way windows needs to associate .mov as quicktime files.
