-- Is it me... (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=15764)

or has the idiot fairy been overly generous lately? I'm trying pretty pictures as avatars and happy music in the background, but it's not helping. I have to deal with idiots at work (if I have to listen to another imbecile - who screwed their computer to hell in the first place - try to tell me how to fix it...), and now it seems they're infiltrating VisorCentral.

aside: I'd like to point out to any idiots that may decide to post in this thread, mentioning names is a real nice way to get this thread locked down (I'm sure it's pushing the bounds of mod tolerance as is).

Unhappy Go ahead

Count me in. I doubt there is a single person who reads this thread who would think it has no relevance to I. (is it Me?)

I'm not denying the fact that people can easily find me annoying. Try using the "ignore" list. It may work better than happy pictures or music.

Can't say much about work though. Try to think of other things while they yammer on. Just a sugguestion.

I don't know about idiots, but things have really turned into flames recently. Discussions go so far off topic it's crazy.

I also am reading a lot of posts that contradict each other and see people getting misinformed because of it.

It's really sad. It's one of the reason I've quit posting recently, I just don't have the need to deal with watching four idiots trash my post without any basis.

To be contradicted because of facts or experience is okay, but I see some people operating upon hearsay.

Oh well, such is the cost of popularity

It has a slight relevence to you. You are not the inspiration behind my post, though. Although you can be idiotic at times (which I've felt free to comment on), you can also have flashes of intelligence and perceptiveness (which is a large part why your idiocy pisses me off - it's pointless). No, this thread is a general lament to responses I've seen from otherwise intelligent persons on this board. Specifics will not be forthcoming, so don't hold your breath. Another part of this thread is just letting off steam from work and seeing some of the same here.

It is not an option.

I ask why they brought it to me if they knew how to fix it. That usually keeps them quiet long enough to fix the problem.

Well, whether or not I'm your secret annoyer, I've taken a look at my recent posts and I've decided to tone it down in the future. (Being on a messageboard isn't a free ticket to be confrontationalist).

Hopefully others will do the same.

Oh good, it's not just me that's encountering a higher than normal "idiot" quotient... I was starting to get concerned. Must be some sort of seasonal occurrence, either that or a intermittent black hole...

Next idiot that walks into my cube gets their face ripped off... (Breathe...Bad air out, good air in...)

Maybe I'm just getting old, but whenever I encounter someone who is obviously "intellectually challenged" I just say to myself "You're a moron" and move on. It's either age or it's just that I've met so many of them my tolerance has increased. Either way, to me it's just not worth getting tweaked about it anymore.

Anyway, perhaps I should use my Visor to keep track of my moron list instead of using my head. I might have better luck remembering them all.

Must be Summer. Lots of people sent their brains on vacation.

I really, really like that idea. It has a Zen kind of appeal... "Idiot, you are on the list. I no longer have to keep your name in my brain."

I think this is the way to go folks...
A better world/forum is in your own hands. I you stop reacting to these fools, they will loose interest and eventually stop posting...

BUT... BUT... I HAVEN'T POST IN LIKE DAYS.

Oh well, I think I feel at ease. I emailed Josh personally to get an answer to the question. I felt pretty good when he looked besides the fact that we haven't gotten along in the past but still able to assist another person who is genuinely trying to be sincere (me).

Thanks for you help before. I decided not to buy the powerbook. Although, I do have a better understanding of the loyalty to the Apple.

Sometimes I fear that idiocy is a contigious disease and I fear I've caught it. Please feel free to have me put down if I start frothing at the mouth. My wife will understand.
