-- 16mg hawigara back up option???? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=15559)
Does anyone have any recomendations for backing up my VPR to a 16mg hawigara in addition to running programs from it.
I tried JAckBack and had 3 fatal crashes that caused the hawigara to reformat losing everything. Thanks to BackupBuddy I had the files....but had to piece by piece reinstall the programs to the VPR then move to the module then install some more.
I only use about 6 mg of the 16 so i have plenty of room to back up my VPR (i leave about 2mg free on the VPR)and still have my progs on it.

Works for me
I have been using JackBack for several months now with no problems. Have you tried their customer support? They really helped me out with some issues that I was having, even sent me an updated program. I back up to my 8MB module every day and like I said, have had zero problems with it. I don't even have to think about doing it. I scheduled it to back up every day at 01:30. I also know that it works. I had to exchange my visor after it quit working and the module restored all my files to the new one.
I have both JackBack and Backup Buddy. I haven't had a problem.
Do you have the current version of the JackBack software?

Yes I have the latest version. It seems that every now and then on a back up routine, the mirror function did it twice and during a hang up moving files I locked up and had to reformat.
