wireless networking
I am considering converting to a wireless network at home. Currently using Linksys etherfast cable/dsl router (4 port).
But, all I know is that there is 802.11b and now 802.11a. a is faster than b. I know there are security issues related to someone in the neighborhood could access my network. This is about all I know. Are there other standards? Which one is better? Any websites someone could direct me to?
I will be connecting a desktop and a laptop to the network.
Thanks,
Doug
