I was so glad that I called Handspring this morning. Although I wanted to trust the CSR's ability to take down my orders, I had a break down and had to make sure that the order was made. They couldn't find my order initially and after like 5 minutes searching the database, they found my order under a misspelled last name. There for I encourage people to call and just make sure that the pen and paper orders were entered into the database correctly. Other wise.. you might still be waiting on your phantom visor come next Christmas.

Did they have your shipping address correct? If your name was spelled wrong, that really wouldn't have held up the order - Unless that affected their ability to properly charge your credit card (I'm making a payment assumption here)

I called and spoke with a girl who, for the most part, sounded sort of clueless. She searched around their "databases" but couldn't find my name, either. She said most all the orders that were placed on 9/14 were sent to the shipping dept. and that I should expect the unit teh 1st of Nov.

I was told that my order placed on 9/14 has gone to the shipping department and would be shipped in two weeks with delivery a week later. Hope to see it end of first week of November.

funny how I was told today that expect my shipment in the first week of Nov while i ordered the visor a week or so later.. they told me 4-6 weeks after ordering.. well that is what they say.. i am still pissed about the delay.
yeah my name was wrong on the credit card too.. that is why i was worried when they couldt' find it.. at least now i now that they haven't lost it.. thank god/jeff.. who ever was responsible

I've got to agree with you on the CS side - I've only called them twice - once to place the order, and once to check up on it, but both people I spoke with were very helpful and nice. I was more frustrated a week ago when I heard through the web that we could expect our orders to arrive at our doors earlier this week - I'm more worried about the Red Sox at this point!
