Question PDA Skins

Has anyone had experience with these cases? I need something that will hold a Visor Plat and my cell phone and this looks to fit the bill, but I can't find any reviews.

Thanks!

I recently bought their PDA Pro Phone case. The case looks good and seems rugged (I've only used it a few days). Well placed zippers and sturdy beltclip. Definitely the neatest solution for a PDA and a phone, if your phone fits in the flap pocket.

In case you haven't seen it, their website is: www.pdaskins.com

Problem is, right after I bought this case, I got the VisorPhone. I've asked them if I can exchange for a different model. But, if you're interested, contact me off-line and maybe we can cook up a deal.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking at the PDA Skins Plus. The larger storage area appeals in case I buy the Stowaway Keyboard.

PDA Skins

Cyros,

DirectCase has recently started carrying the PDA Skins line, and they seem like pretty slick units. I believe your pda and phone (and more!) will fit in the Plus model, you could call or email their customer service to confirm. They have free shipping and a price matching policy, so check them out.

The case is in the mail. Should be delivered Tuesday! Yeah!

The case has arrived! It is a little bigger than I thought it would be, but that is not a big problem. It has become my mobile office. Definitely better than lugging a briefcase everywhere. The belt clip seems a little loose, but it has a belt loop as well so that is not a big issue. My God, it can hold a lot. I have transferred the contents of my wallet and it holds my cell and spare batteries, a pen, and still lots of room. The strap would be good for on the road, but in the office it looks a little too much like a purse. I don't really feel like putting up with the "man-purse" comments from the co-workers.

All in all, I am very happy with the purchase.

Great idea

PDA Skins sounds great. Has anyone tried the internal sleeve? Is it easy to remove and place the Visor in it? I don't see a review on the Visor review site.

I tried it and returned it right away. I found it quite cumbersome to put on and remove. I also did not feel the velcro adequately secured it in the case.

Smile Thanks

I think I will reconsider the PDA Skins case and go with the Rhodiana (versus getting a Clie 710c). Thanks so much for your help!

To be honest, I've had problems with the Rhodiana case, as well. ("Some people are never satisfied!") The Rhodiana is a great case, nice protection, and not ostentatious, and the belt clip works well. Until it breaks. The plastic stud on the base had broken twice, and Rhodiana charges $10. to fix it. I gave up the second time.

If you're okay with no protection when it's not in the case, the PDA Skin might be okay for you. Right now, with the VisorPhone, I think it's my best option.
