-- Rechargable AAA LIon batteries! (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3876)
Check this out: http://rhlx01.rz.fht-esslingen.de/p...ttery/lith.html. Rechargable AAA LIon batteries! It says the voltage for each cell is 4.1 volts though! Does the Visor have a voltage regulator? If it does I think I'll look for some of these. Maxell had them on their US products page also, so somewhere must carry them.
Peace

I wouldn't even consider doing what you suggested. The Visor works on 3.3v internally and as most battery chemistries offer at most 3.2v with two cells the regulator is probably a boost type only (not buck/boost). I reckon you'll damage the visor beyond repair.
Besides which, LiIon batteries require very strict charging and discharging and are not much better than NiMH for the battery sizes required for the Visor.
