-- Has anyone tried the Baker Flip case? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3600)
I saw this case on another site, and wondered if anybody had used it with their Handspring? Like the Slipper, it also closes with velcro, but it's got a single flap at the bottom that goes under the unit (at least, that's what it looks like in the photo). Can't hotsync in the case, though. I was all set to get a Slipper, but the shipping delays and complaints I've been seeing have me thinking twice about it.
Has anybody used this case? What do you think of it?
If anybody wants to take a look, the case is at http://www.bakerproducts.com/flip2.html
I bought the Flip Case (with swivel belt clip) by Synergy through Palmgear.com and am very happy. Same price as the one you mentioned.
Ir port is not obstructed and it syncs in the case. And if holds it securely. (As long as you don't mind putting velcro stickies on your Visor.)

You do have to put the top velcro strip across the springboard module.
The bottom tab I put just above the sync "notch". I had no problems syncing and after the leather softened the Visor "notch" clicked nicely into the sync base.
I suppose you could attach the top velcro only to the module cover, but I did not want to take any chances with the whole thing yanking off.
I went across the module cover because I belt case was a priority for me. It may be several months before the modules I want come out. At that time I can just replace the velcro strips.
Cool, thanks! BTW, I ordered and recieved a FlipCase from SynSolutions.
At first, I really didn't like it. I guess all this velcro kind of freaked me out. But, I realized that you can't have a small sleak case without hugging the Visor as closely as possible. This must have been the best way.
It also felt kind of strange whipping this thing out in public with its long leather cover flopping over. Like I was some power nerd and his immitation tricorder! But, I'm getting used to it.
One major drawback though in the NON belt clip version: those sharp corners on the top velcro portion of the case. They're not rounded over like the opposite end, so if you keep your FlipCased Visor in your pocket like I do, those corners catch really bad.
Well, I did something about it! I've got my case at the shoe repair shop right now getting "modified!" That's right. I'll post an update when I get it back...
