-- Busted Glass! How much to repair? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=9710)
I just accidentally dropped my wife's VDX from about 3 feet onto a vinyl floor and busted the glass in the display. Can someone tell me how much is costs to get the screen repaired and how long does it take?
Thanks!

80 dollars with fast turnaround
This just happened to me 2 months ago. I simply called Handspring, gave them the seiral number located on the back of the battery door and they sent charged $80 for a replacement to my credit card and I had it within 3 days. They also send you a FedEx return kit for the broken one. Its a great replacement policy.
I smartened up and got more protection for my VDX. I bought a rhinoskin belt case http://www.rhinoskin.com. It works great.
when i first called handspring on my broken screen, they said it would cost 80 bucks, and i didn't want to spend that much so i told them i'd call back. the next time i called i mentioned that the case was beginning to crack, and that the screen was broken, both of which were true, and they said they would return it for free. so maybe if the case was beginning to crack you could tell them that and that might get you a free exchange.
