-- Comparsion on HandyGPS and GeoDiscovery GPS (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=5374)
While I understand the overall concept of how a GPS receiver works, I can't claim to know the technical details. Therefore I figured I would throw this question out hoping someone more familar with GPS receivers could answer it.
Now that 2 GPS receviers haver been announced, what are the technical differences between the two. It appears as if the HandyGPS will be out first and I am anxious to get a GPS unit for my Visor, but would there be any advantages to waiting for the GeoDiscovery one. Is one more accurate than the other, more reliable, less affect by weather conditions, quicker responding, etc...
I havn't seen anyone ask this question yet, but I have a feeling that I am not the only one wondering.

Until these two ship, this is a little like comparing a Minotaur to a Unicorn.
(Can you guess which is which?)
the unicorn is a horse and the minotaur is a bull.. ;')
