I just got off the phone with HS CS and was inquiring about a custom case I ordered on 11/5. He said that they have not shipped yet and that they may ship next week or the first week of Jan. Here is the kicker. He said that they would be sending it to me FREE because of the long wait. I am on hold now to confirm this because I didn't get the guys name. I'll post when I have a confirmation.

Handspring included a very nice letter apologizing for the delay and explaining the case was complimentry. I never even complained!

When did you order your case? I ordered a custom case in the first week of November & am still waiting to receive it.

Darn, I was hesitating to get one of those but thought they were a bit too expensive so I ordered a regular one last week.

If I only knew....

I'm not exactly sure when my case was ordered, my girlfriend ordered it as a holiday gift. I think it was the week of Nov. 8th. She said it's really nice but won't let me see it until Christmas! I do know it was supposed to be $68 plus shipping! On top of not being charged they still sent it Fedex overnight!

Received a free custom case as well -- just as I ordered on 10/6, but of course without that pesky $50+ cost.

Yes, I too got a really nice leather case a few weeks ago. It is fantastic!

Wow! The squeaky wheel does get the grease! I waited 10 weeks (Oct. 5 to dec.13) for my IVD & BU Springboard. After resgistering quite a few phone calls & complaints to various departments about how my order was being handled, not only was my Visor delivered on 12/13, but this morning I got an 'apology pack' from HS. A deluxe leather case, a 5pak of color styli and a hat. I guess they do feel bad. Thanks Handspring! I love my Visor AND all the cool accessories!

I just received my Free Custome Case. Very Cool. Maybe if I had complained more I could have gotten a free Handspring Hat. ;-)
