I bought a new computer (Win 98) and loaded the Handspring software. Using a USB cradle, I am unable to sync. I get a message stating the units cannot connect.

I have reloaded the software, tried switching USB ports, disconnected the other device on the other USB port, done a soft boot of the handheld and am ready to pull my hair out.


When I loded the software each time, I got an Excel error because my new machine does not have Excel, but that really should not be the problem.

I know the USB cradle is fine, becaue it worked fine yesterday with my old computer. Any ideas??

Addicted to Avantgo and missing it!

The only thing that uses Excel is the Expense conduit. Try disabling it in the HotSync manager and see if that helps.
