Much as I love the Edge's design, I have concluded that I won't buy one -- mainly because of the ghastly extendo-stylus hanging off the right side of the unit.

I'm sure there are many good reasons for hanging this baby off the side, but I sure can't think of any that would inspire me to buy.

Perhaps some word association will help me with my point:

extendo stylus is to Edge as:

-- handle is to briefcase
-- doorknob is to door
-- pocket protector is to pocket
-- springboard sleeve is to Edge ;-)

Have to agree with you there. I just realized that until you pointed it out, I'd been blocking the extendo-stylus out of my mind, focusing on the body itself. Chalk up one for the m505!
