-- Which Stylus to get? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3495)

Hi.
Which Stylus should I get, if I don't want to use WriteRights or ScreenProtection at all?

I already ordered the 5 pack from handspring, but heard they are not that good as well.
I am thinking about the panache.

What do you suggest?

thanx

Yeah, I also heard the deluxe Styli Handspring ships are crappy too.

Since I am in the market for a new styli, I'd be interested, which one's recommended.

I also don't wanna scratch my visor.

Thanks,

Steve

I promptly went out and purchased a 3pack of replacement Palm III styli as soon as i felt the stock stylus. They fit well (if a bit snug) in the silo, and have a much better feel.

Cool

Well, I've been a user of the PDA Panache "Black-Nail" for a couple of years. Once I got my Visor and the stock stylus started "digging in", I went and purchased the "Black Nail" for the visor. I'm as happy with it as I was my original nail. It seems a bit strange that the visor nail sticks out of the Visor about a 1/4 inch when fully seated, but it has posed no problem so far. Highly recommend it. (Of course, I've never tried any other stylus, so I can't comment on any others.)

Ok. So Panache is great.
Are you using any screen protection?
If not, have you noticed any scratches from "the black nail" so far?

thanx,

Eidos

Wink

I've been using the custom PDAPanache stylus for the Visor for about two weeks now, and I have noticed some barely visible scratches - I'm talking very small, almost invisible. I've got a suspicion that anything you use is going to cause some scratching no matter how careful you are!

Is this scratchin issue due to the material used with the Visor, or is it a common Palm device problem?
