-- Screen Protector availability in the UK? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3862)
Hi,
I have just got my Visor Deluxe and and I am very impressed with especially Avantgo so that I can read the latest news since my last synch, its a shame this kind of facility isn't available for the Psion Series 5mx.
But unlike my Psion I have to use the screen to input everything but everytime I put the sylus to the screen I break out in a sweat as I feel the stylus 'juddering' across the screen. So I was interested in getting screen protectors, I didn't like the sound of the DIY approach so was looking for a real screen protector product, theres just one problem
I can't find any decent ones. I found some on Widget site but they don't say how many there are and they seem pretty expensive.
I thought about the WriteRights but can only find them available in the US and that means that if I order it from say VisorCentral the postage will cost me more then the protectors.
So I was wondering if anyone knew a good site or place in the UK I could get screen protectors from?
Thanks for any help any of you can offer
Try http://www.conceptkitchen.com/
It looks like they ship just about anywhere. If you want clear, non-textured try the ones listed for the Palm IIIc, they do fit the Visor. If you want the textured version that reduces glare but the screen isn't as legible get the ones listed for the Visor.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/ doesn't look like they have them. But you might contact them and ask if they could get them for you since amazon.com in the US does have them.
