-- Help! Visor screen out of alignment w/stylus (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=2370)
I have had my Visor for about 3 weeks and I've noticed that my stylus isn't tracking well lately.
For example, when I point the stylus on the screen, the screen registers it a bit above where the stylus is.
I have tried redoing the "welcome" set up and it seems to be fine for a short time and then back to the poor tracking.
Has anyone else experienced this? What is the problem?
Thanks for any help in advance.

If you're experiencing 'drift' of the digitizer during normal use, I'm afraid I've not come across that problem myself. However, instead of Welcome... try Prefs, Digitizer and do the recalibration. The trick is to accurately tap the center (see below) of all 3 X's.
I have discovered that being extremely accurate with the digitizer setup really helps. In my case, I need to tap about 1 or 2 pixels BELOW the X's to accurately set mine (I was always calling up the Calculator when using scroll bars). This essentially moves the entire digitizer 'UP'.
Perhaps someone with a more intimate knowledge of the workings of the digitizer can comment about this as I would be interested in a technical explanation myself.

I've had the same problem with my previous PalmIII, and I'm afraid to say that it never got better. I should have exchanged it immediately.
You can try DigiCheck to see where the digitizer thinks your stylus is located.
