-- Outlook, email, How to? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=10675)

Posted by DBrown on 01-08-2001 02:43 AM:

My platinum will be here monday. I want to install the cradle in my office at work, syncing with outlook.

The main thing I want to do is be able to download new email to my Visor where I can write responses to it during the day, away from my office. The next time I'm in my office, I want to hotsync any email responses I've created back to outlook, and SEND them from my desktop.

Will it be obvious how to do this once I'm installed at work? What additional software will I need on my Visor, if any? I plan on getting a folding keyboard. Do I need anything special (drivers) to use it for email responses?

Thank you for your help. VisorCentral ought to be automatically added to a visor owner's favorites list when they first install their Visor software.

Dave

Basically, you'll be prompted during the software setup to configure your email. As long as Outlook is your default mail client and you enable the mail conduit, it should work the way you want it to.

Does it sync POP3 and IMAP accounts in Outlook?
