Been checking out the web site, but the FAQs, etc. don't reveal whether it works with existing peripherals like my Stowaway keyboard. If it doesn't, big disinsentive to buy, because I am not willing to pay $150 more for a Visor and then buy a new $100 keyboard.

Stowaway will probably produce a step-down connector?

Perhaps Stowaway can produce -- or SOMEONE can produce -- a step-down connector that marries an Edge with a standard Visor Stowaway keyboard.

Lightbulb

I will stay with my prism since I love my stowaway.

At first glance the Stowaway looks like it has potential to accomodate something like the Edge. If I'm wrong, then forget it. Planned obsolescence is tolerable, but as they said at the beginning of the Edge announcement, they've put out four Handspring PDA's inside of a year and a half and we've seen that there are some significant differences requiring new cases, for example.

No way in hell I'm buying into that game yet again, no matter how slick the Edge looks.

In his demo Jeff Hawkins showed a eyemodule 2 in an Edge.

There's a product called The Bridge that allowed the Palm V series to plug into the older Palm III series, right. Well, word on the streets is that the company that made this product may be producing a device to connect the Edge to keyboards, etc. Let's cross our fingers.
