Someone's gotta have some suggestions!
hmmm, that would be great! I have an old toshiba laptop (tecra 510 cdt) with IR on it. I would love to IR-hotsynch with it. If anyone has any ideas...
Augusto.
do a search on these:
infrared sync
workpad sync
ir sync
ir sync workpadsync
Yep...I HotSync my Prism with my Vaio nearly every day via the IR port...and I did the same with my old VDx.
If you have a Visor or VDx, you'll need to get IRLink from ISComplete.com. If you have a Prism or Platinum, and thus PalmOS 3.5, the IR sync capability is built in.
Eric
dont use irLINK..... use beamsync.... Ive had a number of problems with IRlink and Beamsync(which by the way is free)adds itself into you visor DLX better. If you have a plat or prism excelent if not use beam sync

I use Workpadsync. It's free from IBM.
The problem I have with BeamSync is that it fails 1 out of 5 times for me. Maybe it's because of the length of time of my syncs (Mail and AvantGo drives the sync time up to 5+ minutes at times).
WorkPadSync has worked fine for a year or more.
Link to WorkPadSync
It took me a while to find this file, so I thought I'd post a link for those interested.

If at first you do succeed, try not to look astonished.
Do you have to have an IBM notebook for IBM's program to work?
Nope. I have coworkers using WorkPadSync with Compaqs and Toshibas.
