-- Monster Storage Idea (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=13340)
How about a USB monster storage Springboard that allows the Visor to access contents through the USB port? Perhaps, you could modify an external storage unit to connect to the Springboard, or a cable from the serial port of the Visor to the USB external storage unit. http://stores.yahoo.com/micro3net/buslink.html You still have the 8Mb limitations, but you have your entire office in the palm of your hand.
One day..
But not now.
The USB spec, is a HOST to CLIENT system. On;y Hosts can control things, and Hosts' can't talk to eachother. so that makes the Visor a Client. Unluckly, that means that it won't be able to control any USB devices. iwht USB 2.2, there hopefully won't be that barrier, but it will still take a while for it to work.
VC has had many discussions about this over time.. So search back, and you'll find a bit more info.
