I'm looking for a better stylus to complete my wife's Christmas gift. The only problem is that I live in Germany, and ordering a 5-pack and having it shipped to my mom's who'll have to ship it here is pretty ridiculous. (plus, she just spent $90 on shipping alone sending Christmas gifts for our 16 month old daughter.)

If anybody would be so kind as to send me a stylus - ANY COLOR - I'd buy you lunch if you are ever in Frankfurt. (Or if we move - my wife wants to work in China - wherever we would be.)

Thanks!

hey Goyena,

I may take you up on that offer...
I live in the Netherland (die Niederlaende for you ;-) and am working to get a 5-pack here.

I'll keep the graphite one. what color are you interested in?

If there are any nice skiing area's near frankfurt I would like to go there for a weekend...

Cool

Blau, baby. If I get a choice. Are you having a whole pack sent to you? Did you order it already?

I believe that in the Taunus mountains there is some downhill slopes-nothing to shout about (my wife did slalom races and Super G's, so she would laugh at the idea of skiing up there)...there is certainly lots in the way of cross country though.

I ordered a pack through busychild (see other thread).

Once I get the pack we'll work out the details.

Finicky. Actually, just looked at the Handspring web site, and remembered how washed out the blue looks. How about ORANGE instead?

The colleague for whom I ordered a Visor might possibly be wanting one as well, but that leads me into my next question:

Did you get yours shipped by a friend to the Netherlands? How long did it take and by what method? I got mine thru my mother and priority mail and it took about ten days. However, my friend sent it to this colleague using normal air mail and it's already been two weeks. He's starting to get nervous and thinking that a postal employee gave himself an early Xmas present. Luckily, it's insured.

Goyena,

I was going to get it sent to a collegue of mine in the US and take it home myself (I was in the US in (the end of) october.

I had to fly home visorless and let my collegue sent it to me. This took forever (yes I am one of those early adaptor people...)

Since it took forever to arrive at my collegue's place, I sent a note to the CEO of handspring explaining my situation.

She contacted me with the executive accounts manager who was going to handle my order from then on. I asked her if she could sent it to me directly, and she did!! great service eventually..

Now I ordered a case and will need that to be shipped to me. If you have any suggestions, please let me know...

p.s. you can pick any color execpt graphite and ice...

Wow! Did you ever post that in the Ordering/Shipping board? The fact that your order was shipped directly overseas would make people putting down the customer service (in general, not the hired CS staff apparently) have their jaws drop.

Did they already give their OK to send the case directly to the land of tulips and windmills?
